Important information

Clear boundaries for software, resources, and connected services

This page explains the role CourtneyOS plays and how its public information connects to outside sources.

01

Software and information

CourtneyOS provides software tools and informational resources. CourtneyOS is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

02

Public-source connections

Court and resource pages connect visitors to public agencies, courts, forms, rules, and other external sources. Those publishers maintain their own content and web addresses; consult the source directly for time-sensitive information.

03

Desktop and connected account data

Desktop suite work is local-first by default. Account, membership, device, entitlement, billing, and shared-usage records are maintained by connected CourtneyOS services. Desktop case files are not uploaded automatically.

04

Connected Courtney services

When a user starts an online Courtney action, the relevant context for that action is processed by the connected AI service to generate the response. Voice sessions also process microphone audio and return a transcript and audio response. The product identifies connected capabilities separately from local work.

05

Professional guidance

Questions about legal rights, strategy, deadlines, or a specific matter should be directed to a licensed attorney or another qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
